This set is, as far as I know, the only one in its quality and price range for someone who's past a starter set but not ready to invest 1,000s. Add a bag and a couple nice wedges.

This set is, as far as I know, the only one in its quality and price range for someone who's past a starter set but not ready to invest 1,000s. Add a bag and a couple nice wedges.

They used to be called X2 Hot+ at Costco. I bought mine 6-7 years ago. They changed the name to Edge and have been green, gold and now blue. Look exactly the same. It's a decent set for the price.

For awhile now Costco has included shipping in their online prices and claim "free shipping". In store prices are cheaper because they aren't marked up.

Kirkland irons are not super forgivable and therefore not really aimed at beginners like these clubs.
