I received my S&S tuna shipment yesterday. Bumble Bee "Premium" Solid White Albacore (Low Sodium), Starkist Solid White Albacore, Bumble Bee Solid White Albacore, and Bumble Bee Chunk Light.

A few personal observations:
- The regular Bumble Bee Albacore looks pretty much the same as the Premium.
- The Bumble Bee Premium Low Sodium is significantly less salty in flavor, and I like that.
- The Starkist has a more liquid broth. It tastes "normal" (Bumble Bee's broth is too strong IMO, the tuna almost tastes like chicken). I also think the Starkist looks and tastes best.
- The regular Bumble Bee Albacore has an almost gel-like liquid, but it does strain out.
- The Bumble Bee Chunk Light tuna is rather "pink" and looks pretty broken up/mushy.
- All of the Albacore cans had more tuna that the Chunk Light after draining/squeezing.

Bought the Bumblebee "solid" "white" albacore deal a month or two ago. It's all mush. I can't imagine what their chunk light looks like.

Complaining about canned tuna makes one look foolish. If you're above canned fish, don't eat it or comment on a post about it. You think your body knows the difference between difference varieties of CANNED tuna fish? Either you eat canned tuna fish and this is a good deal or you don't, there's really no grey area here to debate

Nothing beats Aldi canned tuna. 33g of protein in an Aldi can compared to 22g in this watered down garbage.

Yeah I've been buying Aldi, and honestly even the generic Walmart brand seems better than Bumble Bee, I tried their large cans. Didn't realize it had gotten this bad. Bumble Bee's look like some dollar store quality mush in the pics.

I mean, I usually strain it well and just put some mayo, but Starkist albacore obviously looks better but Starkist's chunk light even looks better than anything from Bumble Bee here.

Just had some Wal-Mart tuna and CANNOT BELIEVE how good it is v.s. this garbage! I am not surer I would pay more than 50 cents a can and that is only for prepping, stocking up!

it's basically minced beaks and paws from special tuna fish, minced so you cant tell the difference.
