I can't think of any good use for this over a trickle charger. This doesn't charge your battery. It would be sweet if it had gps incorporated or some other useful features

It's junk for people who don't know any better. You can get a cheap trickle charger if you want to maintain the health of your battery for as long as possible. If you need to know the condition of your battery and don't know how to test it yourself, you can just go to an auto parts store and they'll do it for free. Probably won't take you more than 5 minutes to walk in, talk to a clerk, and have them run a quick test.

It's a voltage tester with Bluetooth interface. It will discharge your battery if left unattended for a long time. You better buy jumpstarter if you need emergency start.
