Unlike any bookshelf speaker, the S 803 Dolby Atmos ready speaker delivers incredible stereo sound with a patent-pending connection points atop the cabinet for seamless integration of the S 8 ATM topper to deliver the overhead effect of Dolby Atmos.
Seamless Dolby Atmos Integration
Elegant metal fasteners atop the cabinet provide a chic, modern industrial look, but also serve as a connection point for the S 8 ATM Dolby Atmos elevation speaker.
This patent-pending design allows for all of the wire connections on the back of the floorstander, avoiding unsightly and messy speaker wire going all the way up to the Atmos module - for cinematic, completely immersive Dolby Atmos sound while preserving the beautiful aesthetic of the Jamo Studio 8 Series.
Updated and Modern
The Jamo Studio 8 series has been completely reimagined to live seamlessly in modern, premium environments. Contemporary material and finish choices accentuate the clean, minimalist lines of this European design, while the compact cabinet designs are an ideal solution for urban living environments around the world.
More Bass + Less Space
Front firing tube port improves low frequency extension while maximizing placement options.

Got these when I purchased the Jamo set. Only speakers I replaced were these junk bookshelf speakers. IMO, not worth $78 unless you're desperate for cheap speakers. $329 retail price is absolute BS.
new to home audio here - i have an Energy Take Classic 5.1 satellite speakers with a Denon AVR-X1800H receiver so would these bookshelf speakers be a good upgrade for the two front speakers? or would it not be much of a difference?
They'd be a noticeable upgrade. Especially if you run L/R bypass for the fronts in the Denon software.
I am looking to add some speakers to my gym. Would these work well for music and what else would I need to connect to an iPad? A Bluetooth receiver?
You just need an amplifier. Something inexpensive like this should do.

Thanks for the advice. What do you mean by LR bypass though?
L/R bypass is a setting in the Denon receivers that allow the speakers to be bypassed by the Audyssey EQ software. These sound really good without any EQ so I have mine bypassed.

is this related to the Audyssey tuning when you're setting up the system? or a separate EQ setting after the fact?

Heads up, the Atmos topper speakers[jamo.com] have been OOS for ages. I had thought this set was discontinued which aligns with this price drop to clear out inventory.
Do you guys think the Jamo S 803[jamo.com]'s are too big for surrounds in a 5.1 system? I recently bought the Jamo S 801[jamo.com], thinking about returning them and getting the 803's instead. What do you think? Thank you.
