Looking at the specs online I see where they seem to indicate the same noise level specs (25.6 dBA) for the fans on each model:

https://www.thermalright.com/prod...it-120-v2/
https://www.thermalright.com/prod...0-plus-v2/

It would be nicer if they listed values in dB, but regardless of the dB value of one fan, and assuming they do indeed produce the same dB noise level, two fans together should generate around double the noise thus adding 3dB to the rating.

Good luck!
Jon
This one has two fans for .20 more. Thermalright Assassin Spirit 120 V2 Plus CPU Cooler 4 Heat Pipes with AGHP Technology, 120mm PWM Double Fan CPU Air Cooler,154mm High, for AMD AM4 AM5/Intel 1700/1150/1151/1200,PC Cooler https://a.co/d/1hwXSdw

Not sure if the db is accurate as it appears to somehow be quieter?
I have the 120 Assassin King RGB (5 heat pipes) on a 3600x with a Rx 6800 below, my airflow isn't completely optimized but for cpu heavy games temps stay cool and fan very quiet.

The value proposition on these sub 20$ thermalright coolers is phenomenal.

A great upgrade from a stock cooler. So much quieter than the AMD Wraith.

You're good to go with LGA1700 compatibility included with the bracket.

I have the peerless assassin on my 12700K system. It's a dual tower, 6 heatpipe heatsink with 2 fans. This is the one I bought but they have other assassin models.

You should be good with this one. Or go big and get the phantom spirit. But it's $35

For 20c more you can get a second fan.

I already got a phantom spirit that was on sale, no plans to overclock. Noise is my main priority. Looking at am5. Any reason to get this instead of the phantom spirit evo?

No reason, unless your case can only fit a small cpu cooler

Glad I saw this
They also have a sale on the ID-COOLING FROZN A620 Black [a.co]
I used my $10 gift card on it and got it for $32.
I really like the modern look of these new ID cooling products, I have been waiting for weeks for it to come down off the $50 price.

Perhaps they ran the double fans more slowly to achieve same target temperature? (though such a test wouldn't be very fair metric for comparison)
