A little hack, you can return an Amazon package in staples and they will give you a 15% off coupon. Use that 15% towards the headphones to bring the price to ~$300

I upgraded to these from my Bose QC35, big improvement and I was a fan of my QC35. I mainly use them on my train commute into the city. Blocks out almost all the noise, only thing that'll cut through is the train whistle if I'm in the front seat. The immersive audio is a great addition well and really improves the sound stage. I haven't flow with these yet, but imagine they'll be a nice boost from how my QC35 handled flights.

Surprisingly, the 15% coupon that I received today (from an Amazon return) worked just now: $349.99 - $52.50 = $297.49 subtotal.

Just like that Reddit post, the coupon I received also says "Not valid on online printing, technology including but not limited to...Bose...". So not sure if this is YMMV.

Seems like it cannot be used with the audio cable when it is turned off? Also when using audio cable, the microphone is not enabled?

I saw that SD but it was late at night and by the time I saw it.in the morning it was SO. So I am waiting now for another deal like that. I have three Bose of diff generations haha I like them so want to upgrade but being an avid SDer I refuse to pay above that prior deal

You most likely can't, just like prior generations. The use cases for Bose QC are different. None of my two prior gen QC offer that functionality and I assume the newest version also doesnt.

Dang. Just bought these a week ago at 379.

They're awesome. Seriously the ANC is incredible. I researched for the best noise cancelling ability and it was between these and the Sony M35 (can't recall if that's the correct model number without looking it up) but went with these because I had concerns about the Sonys being too large for my head.

The ANC.. my husband spoke right next to me and I thought he was joking around whispering. It's that good.

After the bad experience with my QC35s (two of them) I went with the Sony XM4s and haven't regretted it. The QC35's power button stopped working after a year which for both units.

returned that walmart special. absolutely pitiful headphones _ at -this-price! Zero new tech vs 700s, and shocked they haven't dropped faster, I guess bose still have more brand power than I thought
