SameDay.Costco.com (powered by Instacart) has a 17% markup capped at $13 per item. To find the in-store price, divide by 1.17. Note that pricing varies by location - to check different stores, you can temporarily set the delivery address to that store, then change it back.

If the SameDay price is $89.47 or more, just subtract $13. e.g. lists $112.99, in-store should be $99.99.

I don't like how costco doesn't show the in-store price on items. You can check on instacart for some stuff but prices are higher than in store.

Don't these sales usually go on for 3-4 weeks with many more items? Or is this a different type of sale?

Guys next time you are in Costco, open Walmart app and check the price in local Walmart. Most of the items price are inflated in Costco after recent price hikes. It is cheaper to get branded items in walmart. Most of the time Kroger is cheaper than Costco. Sam's club is always cheaper than Costco. This is except for krickland product.

Thing changing if you don't realize.

Thanks. I have been using it for a while to check inventory and see unadvertised sales. I'm not sure if it's just my store, but often random items will just suddenly be on be sale. Not part of the monthly savings/hot buys, etc. Thanks to instacart/Costco same day, I can see all these discounts without going to the store. Good to know I can now see the exact price too, I never knew it was a flat % markup with a cap.

Can confirm 2 weeks in a row Kroger's soda prices were cheaper than Costco. I need to be more careful buying non-sale items because I accidentally paid more at Costco not realizing.

This is different than the monthly ad. This runs in the gap week between monthly ads, and it has online-only and in-warehouse varieties

Soda prices typically suck at Costco

I think people mostly buy them for the convenience of buying a large stash.
Or perhaps restaurant/business owners that are already shopping there so might as well buy it

That's why I like Sam's Club better. I do belong to both though. Sam's,shows prices on most items and on most items they charge the same price shipped or in the club. With a Plus membership ,many items have free shipping, without the jacked up price to cover shipping like Costco.
I live over 1 hour from my closest Sam's so with free shipping, it's much better for me.

This is why I mainly get stuff on sale and stuff I can't get elsewhere (which is a lot actually). If the item isn't on sale, my experience is that it's usually similar to the price at Walmart, for a much larger quantity.
