If you haven't used anything from Wera before and/or don't use hand tools day in and day out then you probably wouldn't understand/need/want this set. It's certainly not for everyone, but what it ABSOLUTELY is NOT is "overpriced junk". I work in the robotics industry and have tools from every manufacturer you could possibly imagine. My Wera tools are consistently among my favorite tools I own. Do they do anything another tool absolutely cannot do? Not at all. Do they do that job better than most any other tool out there? Absolutely. That's a distinction that matters to me, but it may not matter to you. Purchase accordingly.

It's a great kit. Only worth it if you're going to use most of what's in it. For me, I have too much overlap from my current wera kits.

I wish they separated their kits more. But maybe that's normal with tools. The 11 and 14 are missing. I use those. Hex goes down to 3mm. I needed 2 and 2.5 up to 8. Then it has a bunch of bits I never use. Do your hw before buying.

Great tool set, I been using one for BPI Xray machines for over 8 years and going strong. i bought another as a back up. kinda wish they had the standard on sale too.

I hate breaking out one of the full sized sets to put together toddler furniture, toys, etc. Not to mention the full sized sets often are too large. This might be just the ticket. Smilie

Worked for me, but as others have said, there's no mention of a 10% discount until the very last page of checkout (where clicking one more button will actually place the order.) And it's only in the app, not on Woot.com.

This is a set that's primarily marketed towards industrial use in euro land. Even then I was in the same boat as you and swapped out several of the bits with smaller hex/torx, especially since I have a 1000v withstand set of phillips and standard that I carry.

Edit: I lost one of these sets to TSA. Even though everything in this set is supposed to be fine, don't expect TSA to be trained well or consistent to their own rules. Bag check your tools.
