You're absolutely right, except you're downplaying the long reach benefit. It is so incredibly useful for driveway wrenching. It's more than just changing a tire or oil change. Need to get your control arm in the right spot to get a bolt on? Need to hold your driveshaft by yourself? Hell throw on the attachment to use it as a transmission lift, and you can get your car high enough with this jack to make that a reasonable option in the first place. Long reach, low profile, very high max lift. Great jack.

That was a one-off coupon mistake. Not the actual sale price at the time. The sale price from what I can find for 2020 was around $169.99. Check out the thread below and see for yourself.

It's this price with coupon often..what's great about this jack is that is has a foot pump that helps raise it easily to contact the car...it's not going to lift the car, just a couple of pumps to get u to the lift phase with the long bar...see video

not sure if this has been cheaper except via a price mistake a long time ago

This is a long reach jack (24-1/4 in. vs 19-7/8 in.) for higher clearance vehicles. The minimum lift is 3 1/3" which about the same as other low clearance jacks.

Yes. That was the price mistake which I jumped in. I talked to the store manager and they honored the coupon by manually adjust the price. And $169 was the regular sales price back in 2020. Given the inflation, $190 sounds about right.

No need to buy the long reach low profile if you car does not need it. Regular 3 ton Daytona is pretty good. I got it only because it was so cheap with the coupon mistake.
