Yes they do that out of the box, no need for jailbreak. But why would you get an Xbox for that? People used to do that like 10yrs ago. Just get some sort of cheap pc or Mac mini used and hook up and hard drive. Xbox will work but it's not practical in 2024

Yes- hands down a steal! Been playing FC24 (trial), MLB The Show, Forza, Halo Infinite, all on Game Pass. I have no idea what those PS5 folks keep yapping about and I seriously don't want to dedicate the time to even hear it.

Can these be jailbroken and used as any type of decent home theater in a box or media server or is the hardware locked down or too old?

I'm thinking will have to be really lucky to see those prices again outside of Black Friday.

Of you need something now, this is a pretty solid price.

I can just get gamepass and run all the games on that right?

Link? "In your imagination" doesn't count. Maybe you're referencing the woot refurb deal that comes in and out of stock.
Bro chill, no one is claiming it's immediately available, but they're by no means mythical. That's what they were going for on BF but you had to be quick

Yes. I have an Xbox One X with Game Pass that I never get to use because of my kids, but I just download and cloud play anything I want on Game Pass from my Windows gaming PC via the Xbox app.

Probably $350 with coupons + Giftcards. People tend to forget to mention that when they brag they got for cheaper lol. Or that they got it 6 months ago on holiday.

No it was from Woot refurbished for 310. MS store had it for 350 with a gift card deal. Target had for 350 with a target circle offer.

Nobody here is bragging lol it's frequently at that price one way or another.
