Very random indeed lol. I managed to get the 7800X3D down to about $337 (after taxes) with cashback and selling the ram and that crappy Micro ATX gigabyte mobo from a bundle a few weeks ago. That was a lot of work just to subsidize the CPU price alone, so this is a nice deal if you actually need any of the bundle items.

Are you looking at the "estimated cost" because that will automatically add estimated tax. Mine shows like $357.xx but I can see the headphones are $15 after $5 discount, and the processor is $339 after $30 discount and another $20 off the cost with the promo discount meaning it's showing roughly $335 but with my 7% sales tax that adds roughly $22 in tax.

If I need a new build, should I get this bundle plus mobo and ram separately or get a bundle that already has all three? Which is cheaper?

Regarding aesthetics it's usually better to get separately; but if you just keep it in a ventilated closet and never look at it then those bundles do ok but not much cheaper; you just need to look at some shortcomings such as 2dimm slots, no built in wifi or bad reviews since those decisions get made for you associated with the bundle

There's been issues like if it's an eatx mobo and it won't fit your case as such

I was so excited to get this CPU and start a new build, but I had so many problems with AM5 and RAM. I have to run the RAM at half the speed it's capable of and the whole "training" delay is annoying when getting everything configured.

The bundle with mobo and ram is significantly cheaper if you can wait long enough.
