yea but i dont have target red and shipping costs @ target makes the monoprice site's price + free ship worth it. Was just looking to upgrade my 20w adapters, too.
Some reviews say the prongs on the adapter itself can break, but for a year's free replacement I'm in. It's likely going to sit in one place anyway.

I've purchased 2 different Monoprice USB chargers that showed up on here, one the USB-C only works when the cable is in a certain direction, the other charger buzzes when charging. Their customer service is terrible to deal with, not worth the hassle.
In for 2 at this price as I won't use them for traveling (these seem to have a weak spring design) and have way too many short tails so this will live plugged into a 6 or 12" extender.
Reading the reviews on both target and mono suggests that while these are fairly fragile, they do (for most people) provide enough power for a switch in doc mode, or full 45W speed charging for samsung (in spec anyways). The fragile part is the folding prong (inside spring or catch) will most likely fail with light use causing issues to put it mildly. So if it lives in an outlet extender it should make for a solid samsung/switch/phone charger for either home OR office use (pick where it lives.) Freeing any of the more expensive 45W+ ankers and the like for laptop / traveling use. Do note you've got a fixed year of warranty and deploy it accordingly...
Thanks OP!

I have a similiar one. Different make but slim gan similiar sized with folding prongs and the usb-c out is on the bottom edge.
Very difficult to keep it plugged in a wall socket. It cannot be used with the 3 feet cables….I got a 6 feet cable and can now use it..but gets loose frequently and am afraid it will fall out.

Samsung requires a 5A cable for charging at 45W to be safe. Max amps with the 45W charger is 4.05@11V (44.6W). Full 45W is 3A@15V.
Here's the specs on the official Samsung 45W charger:
Output Current (Max, Fast Charge)
PDO : 3 A(9 V, 15 V), 2.25 A(20 V) / PPS : 4.05 A(3.3-11.0 V), 2.8 A(3.3-16.0 V), 2.1 A(3.3-21.0 V)

The OP Monoprice charger should charge Galaxy S+ and S Ultra devices fine at 3A@15V = 45W
