Is this a different system then shopmyexchange? I assume it requires a new sign up, right? I'm trying to get kids PS5, missed the last SME deal, even though it was old model, it was a great deal 449 with spider man with no tax for disc version.

Actually it does require a new sign-up. AAFES, NEX, and CGX all have their own log-ins and accounts.

For what it's worth nex is actually a better run online retailer than shopmyexchange… I've ordered extensively from both. Creating new account is pretty painless

My experience has been the same. The only issue that I've had with NEX was my coupon not working in Chrome and only working in Edge.

My husband is ARNG. The Nex Exchange had no problem letting me set up an account, but the Army/Air Force exchange says they cannot process a hyphenated last name (verified w/customer service). We tried to purchase a refrigerator through the Army/Air Force exchange, they ran our card, put a hold on it, refused to process the order, and kept our money for 2 weeks. Bought the same fridge through the NEX, free delivery and installation plus $25 rewards certificate.

I think I figured out the issue. You tried to purchase from the "Army/Air Force" Exchange.

Always choose Navy.

Navy is the correct answer every time. LOL. Wink

Let's be honest...Navy is a middle ground. We all know the Air Force has the best amenities, and the Army and Marines are just cannon fodder. The Navy usually has AC, and sure being underway can be stressful, but at least as you said you're not in a foxhole dodging bullets, or dumping sand out of your boots every hour. Wink

NEX is better in all ways than AAFES, not just online. If you've ever been to one of the NEX flagship locations (Norfolk or better yet, Pearl), it's obvious. AAFES tried to make a similar store at Ft Bliss, but it just doesn't compare. The smaller AAFES locations, like the post where I work, are just worthless.
