Why would anyone get this over a s89c I have no idea it was cheaper and it has a better qd oled panel add extended warranty and you're at this price point.

C3 should be $1600 to justify its panel by this point we've had the woled panels for many years with little improvements
Very unhelpful comment. Build quality of LG and QC is much better, and Tizen OS sucks. Given the $50 difference, this is the better deal. Plus Dolby Vision.

There's a reason Dolby vision has much more adoption than HDR10+

HDR 10+. I've got Dolby vision in the bedroom. S89c in the living room. Not significant of enough difference to note. Unless you've been side by siding them in your home as well, I'm sure you couldn't tell. Marketing noise.
Yep, I have both and notice little to no difference. I never understood the 77" size. I considered a 77", but thought if I go above 75", it might as well be 85". So I went with 85".

Will Amazon honor price match say within 30 days or only Walmart, Best Buy. Really tempted to pull the trigger but this has been dropping every other week

Probably because this provides a more accurate PQ and offers Dolby Vision which is better HDR format.

I don't fully agree with that, especially not after the latest LTT video where they basically had a professional cinema reference screen and had it sitting next to a Samsung and LG OLED screen.

I wouldn't really say one was technically better than the other, because the Samsung lost lots of detail in HDR scenes, where the LG didn't, but I also wouldn't say one screen is better than the other.

Dolby Vision has 12 bit color depth, HDR 10+ is only 10 bit. While true that both panels are only 10 bit panels, if you want to enjoy the best that media has to offer today (4K Dolby vision HDR Blu-ray's) and have a collection of them, then when 12 bit panels are available you are already ready to experience the enhanced 12 bit material because you'll have a collection of source material. To each their own, but I would never invest in an inferior standard. Dolby Vision will continue to get the lion's share of support from the studios.
