If your O365 subscription is with Amazon, I believe you have to wait until it expires before being able to renew/redeem a key on office.com.

Microsoft Office is arguably the most mature, polished personal productivity suite on planet Earth, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, what is not opinion is that hundreds of millions of people use the suite (at work, school) and have become proficient with it and, presumably, would prefer to use it (at home). And, if you value the Cloud storage at <$5/month, then Office is basically a free bonus.

You may have a point somewhere but the hyperbole doesn't help your cause.
Office is a long-running highly polished and highly capable suite of software, made by a company that spent millions of dollars and decades to develop and mature it, and used by billions of people.

There are other software with similar functionality, and less than a handful of them are free and comparatively capable, not meaning that they have identical functionality or cover all features of Office.
E.g., have you tried the new Copilot gimmick integrated into office? Pretty fun, and even useful.

The free alternatives are just as good if not better IMO but not enough people know about them dw that why i am here to spread the world.

I think it's great to make Slickdealers aware of free alternatives ... but that doesn't make Office "garbage". Besides...if Office is garbage as you say, and the free alternatives are "just as good," that ain't saying much for the free alternatives!

This should be managed by Microsoft right? My current subscription is with Amazon and I remember there be issues with stacking years when theres a good a deal vs Microsoft you can stack I think up to 5 years.

This is why I have it. Good deal for what it is. But I'm paid up thru Feb 2028 so I guess I can wait a few years before topping up again.

Can I sync documents seamlessly across multiple platforms, including mobile? If not, your conclusion is garbage. If so, I'm curious, but I'd still need to pay for cloud storage.
