Do you have an RV? If not, you probably don't. If you do, they can make a big difference depending on where / how you are parked compared to the slope of the ground. There are other side benefits too, not just the flow of your poop but greater likelihood someone will see the sewer hose so they won't trip / damage the hose, less stress on the hose when dumping, not creating a dam on the campsite in heavy rain (sewer hose laying directly on the ground), and so on.

*And yes yes yes, someone is going to come along and say how you can make this same thing with 5 hours of work, $30 in large diameter PVC piping / gutters, etc while completely neglecting to mention it will be a PITA to transport if you actually move your RV or camper...but they'll do so anyway like they just invented sliced bread or penicillin

That's a great price, if I already didn't have one I'd definitely go for it.

I have never found then need for one for short term camping, but I can see some advantages if you are a seasonal camper and have to dump regularly throughout the season.

We camp few times/year, when you're emptying your tanks keeping your sewer hose at an angle definitely makes it easier. But to each is own I guess.

I would agree but for $10 it's a no brainer for the occasional full hook up trip.

10' is kinda too short. I would recommend 20' for general use case.

I've been to 9 different campgrounds last season alone and I didn't have to use anything longer than 10ft... if you have a sewer hookup those are typically strategically located so folks don't need to run 20 feet of stinky hose from their camper.

I bought 2 for that reason.

But it will require taking all the pieces apart and interleaving the 2 kits in order.

FWIW, I know in Arizona, there is a law requiring the sewer hoses to be elevated off the ground. The city will fine the CG, which in turn passes the fine along to the RV'er.
