I don't get breaks at work, and I hate when my food gets cold - I've been using the 20oz Crock Pot warmer for a while, which has worked great - this 32oz one will be a nice little upgrade.

Is this for people that don't scarf their food down as fast as possible? I don't have any issue with my food getting cold. Not sure why I'd get this?

When I pack my lunch I use a lunchbox and ice pack and microwave the food when I get in. Is this like if I fixed soup before I went into work and wanted to keep my soup warm for 4 hours for lunch?

Not everyone has access to or wants to share a microwave.

It's the same reason people like to cook their food over a stove or pot rather than nuking their food. Believe it or not microwaved food doesn't taste as good. In addition with the 12v you can use this in your car so it's good for construction workers at a work site.
