For those bothered by dynamic range compression, this is pretty loud and compressed. I found it a very harsh listen and stuck with my original 90s CD. The second disc does have some unique stuff so it might be worth owning for that reason if you are a big Nirvana fan.

Excellent price, but be warned, the audio improvement from the original CD to this remastered version is negligible. I even have the remastered version in hi-res and can't typically tell the difference between the hi-res remaster and the original CD.

So dang random … I went thru all of my favorite Nirvana songs yesterday after hearing "Smells like teen spirit" last night on a local radio station including those live from Del Mar.

So many great songs but for some reason I still love their version of Bowie's "Man who Sold the World"…
