Good thing if you buy from their site, you can return in 45 days.
Sam Ash has it $900+ %20 coupon. With tax it was about $750. Pretty slick.
Annoyed they let me put in a order for the Gibson Antique Natural Explorer, but apparently it's been discontinued and SA aren't likely to get anymore. They also wouldn't honor 20% off the 70s antique natural because it's a "pre order", even though every other outlet has them in stock and they are all over reverb.
Nice! I bought a ESP M-7HT. I really wanted a Jackson Loomis SL-7 but, they didn't have one. Interested in trying the ESP. I have a ESP Alexi.
I have never gotten along with Schecters unfortunately. I previously owned a KM-6 & KM-7. I looked at most of the 7's but, half of them didn't work with the code.
I check several "mint" PRS S2s on their reverb store, and they have the exact same pictures as the new ones on the SamAsh website. For example: S2 10th anniversary McCarty 594: https://reverb.com/item/79246615-...l-s2071717 or S2 10-th anniversary custom 24https://reverb.com/item/79246632-...bonni-pink.

Typically this happens for a few reasons.
1. Guitar you ordered is OOS.
2. Guitar you ordered was in stock but, multiple people bought that model and unfortunately they did not have the inventory to fulfill all the orders. This happened to me at MF/GC 2 months ago.
3. It's discontinued and they can't get anymore new options for that specific model.
When you go to their web pages it generally says "Only 1 left".
So the 1 they have is going to be on display at a store usually.
Why doesnt samAsh have 200 of a model? Fender only makes 300 for the world for some models. And then figure GuitarCenter has 300 stores to compete with. You buy 200 guitars for you stores, thats 250,000 dollars for 200 pink jazz basses or whatever that might not sell.
And thats not even talking about sweetwater thats has 100M of $$$ to buy product.
SamAsh is more like a mom and pop store, you take your kid too to buy a new trumpet for school.

Interesting, great intel! I spoke with a sales associate who told me this is the best condition guitar they have across all the stores that have one. There is a small chip in the headstock (annoying, but small), and the rest is surface level scuffs really. They knocked another 5% off the price (25% discount total). Plus 4% back from you know where and this seems like a pretty solid deal, even when comparing the stock on Reverb. Thoughts?
