Thanks for the information. Although the Black Power Strip w/ 5' cable looks to be $32.99 / $29.99 much more often than this price. And this also matches the previous Front Page deal.
People also tend to "knee jerk" buy when they see a 30+ percent reduction in price for FOMO. Many of these Amazon deals are blurring the ethical lines by using MSRP as a reference point and then using buzzwords like "Sale", "Limited Time" and "Lightning Deal".
I've been watching this power strip since before Christmas. It is very cyclic to see it bump to full price for 24 hours, then back to the price point where it is currently. My "good deal" threshold is about 20% off of the current price.
