Absolutely. Patents in the US are handed out williy nilly for very vague and often previously established products or concepts to not the originator, but to the filler with big pockets hoping that the originator never contests the filling or they can pay a little bit to have them drop the contest. Even dirtier, large conglomerates will very often file originally under shell companies or with patent firms. They'll say it's to keep new and upcoming IP secret, but it's really just to be able to obfuscate the party that wants it so they can pay pennies on the dollar of the patent's potential real worth.

Judge Gilstrap in the Eastern District of Texas is a piece of shit and probably set American innovation back decades and cost consumers ungodly sums of money completely unbeknownst to them, almost certainly in the trillions.

As you can tell. I'm extremely passionate about patent reform. Patents are absolutely needed, but the system has been abused for decades and the dipshits running the office are basically out of their depth once they have to make an issuance on a patent if the tech supersedes a carbonated engine. And lord help us if Chevron Deference is struck down by the Supreme Court; innovation will purely be controlled by only the largest companies with the best lobbyists and large campaign donations.

Excuse me! I just looking for someone to give me some insight about these fans. Nobody cares about some discourse concerning patents or intellectual property 🤔

I bought this about a week ago and the original description said 1800-2000 RPM. But then when I received the fans. The box says 500-1500RPM. They confirmed it was the slower speed, so they changed it on the website. Also that $25.99 has been the original price since I seen it on Newegg a couple of weeks ago.
They dont seem cheaply made, will install them this weekend.

I've had a sama case (that came with 4 similiar fans) and they have all been going strong for 2 years now while my other 2 random fans died out over a year ago lol.

Those don't have infinity mirror like these and the Lian Li uni ones.

I bought 3 sets (9 total) with and additional 2 sets custom assembled for "pull - reverse direction" for my 360mm AIO radiator. I had to reach out to SAMA to have that made. They should be here next week and I can finally assemble everything inside my Hyte Y70.

First impression, theses are well-built and easy to connect. Clips together for ease of daisy chain. I've mentioned earlier, I've yet to plug them in to see the lighting because I'm still waiting for some more parts.

Looks like a Lian Li knockoff from China. May as well order from Ali Express since they're very clearly infringing on a well known patented company.

This isn't a "sale" this is standard pricing from an unknown company copying other companies popular designs.

Same price on Amazon straight from the manufacturer.
This is not necessarily true. Lian Li has tried to sue numerous case fan makers to no avail. Look at the Phanteks D30 as one example.

Welcome to Slickdeals where very few people actually stay on topic and discuss the deals.
