most possibly made in china, or some similarly cheap places in asia.

Make sure you don't plan to claim warranty, as some reviewers found out that their warranty registration site did not provide "submit" button after you input all your information:

Just ordered this one to replace an aging Swissgear I got in August 2014 off another Slickdeal. The Maxxum still is going strong even after almost daily use with full load (I call it my man purse, I carry alot of just in case gear along with a 15" laptop, 15" portable screen, etc), but is showing its age. I hope this one lasts 1/2 as long! https://slickdeals.net/e/7061340-wenger-swissgear-maxxum-15-4-laptop-backpack-29-free-shipping?src=SiteSearch

I personally own this backpack and it has surpassed my durability test. I've had other more expensive backpacks which have fallen apart from normal use but this hasn't had anything torn or broken from traveling. I also appreciate all the zippers and compartments.

I can rep both of those remarks. What would that make me with my Ogio really cool or the goofy guy with a cool backpack that won't stand up and has so many pockets i lost whole lunch in it and i know it still in there even after 18 months. op never mind wife could smell it and took it out a year ago.

humor fully intended maybe not recognized but intended.
