Don't waste your time buying a Series 1. Go check the reviews. I owned one and had to return it. I t has got major issues with their burners turning on.

I heard Series II is better.

That's too bad. I already had a griddle, but when I saw these at home depot, I thought they looked very well built, compared to the standard Blackstone's (thicker metal, better finish. Overall better feel). Defiantly a more premium feel to them than the blackstones.

I wonder if the burner issue could be fixed with simply changing out a part, like the gas knobs?
