Ideal for kids aged 6-9.. though with some supervision... This bike is too small for 12 yr old kids... This bike can go fast... It's a fun bike for this price..

I bought my son one of these last year, it worked for a couple of weeks then died. Haven't dug into it to get it fixed yet. He's 7 and this is just about too small for him. I would say ages 4-7 would be best for this size as stock.

It says 13+ and the little girl in the picture looks big. Do you have this bike? Don't wanna get it if it's too small.
My 5 year old rides one and I think its the perfect size for him.

I looked through the description and didn't see it.

Anyone who has this--does the throttle have a limiter on it so a little kid doesn't accidentally twist the throttle too much?

If the kid can't figure out the throttle quickly they are too young. This thing hauls ass. My son started using just before five and used this to help him get rid of his training wheels on his bike. He is 7 now and still uses it. He's on the smaller side and is starting to get too big for it

Grabbed the spider-man version of this a few years back for $100. Definitely got $100 worth of enjoyment out of it. Might consider this if the price drops some more.

Just put a potentiometer on it to regulate speed. I have same setup but their atv/quad. I put a pot on it and can dial in speed /throttle response in real time.

Electric scooter parts online store sells them.

At least 5 one-star reviews on first page saying:

"Junk," "useless," "garbage" also "battery issue", "90 day warranty up and battery no good" (2 different reviews)

The bad reviews make it even riskier than a 14 mph mini ebike is already!

Avoid this. Hard pass.

Sounds like your batteries need to be replaced. There is enough Voltage for the light to come on for the switch but not enough to run the motors. The good new is you don't need to buy them from Razor, you can get generic SLA 12v batteries. You will need 2, I think they are 7 or 9AH. The higher the Ah the longer it should run. You can replace them if you have basic DIY skills, watch a couple of YT videos. There is also some tips out there to maximize the life of these batteries.
I've replaced mine, pretty easy

Got one of the razor pocket mods from a year ago deal, it stopped working already. Light turns on but the "engine" does not start. Razor's warranty is 90 day so it's basically a brick.

This one https://razor.com/products/electr...ocket-mod/ [razor.com]

Save your money.
That happened to my friend, but instead of getting ripped off, he purchased a new one and put the old broken one in the box and returned it. He was fed up with getting ripped off by high prices yet low quality. I was like "man, how could you do such a thing" and I stopped being his friend.

Any idea if these can be sent in airplanes ? Like checked in luggage?
IATA rules that a max of 2x12V batteries can be carried in the cabin. I got this for my son, removed the batteries and sent it in the hold, carried the batteries onboard

I have 2 that I got for free. One still works and I can ride it. I'm 5'8 175lbs.

There is a YouTube video out there where it's been converted to a gas motor...

Have the blue one and swapped it out with better batteries from Amazon. Now I get 4 hour to charge. 1 hour of riding.
