Cool, I can fly to San Francisco and get my rental car broken into, and get the "authentic San Francisco experience"!

just for fun, i pulled up the low fare calendar for LAX to SFO during the promo period. this fare is only offered seven (7) days during the promo window. in fairness though, there are a handful of $37 fares so still pretty good.

Too much demand for Disneyland
This makes no sense. LBG is valid and just as close to Disney.

I assume the bulk of their money is from people trying to fly out of California lol.

Yeah, for Southwest, the way it works is if you booked with actual money (whether it be your credit card or a gift card), the refund is tied to the name of the person on the ticket. However, if you book with points, the refund goes back to the original account that had spent the points on the booking.
So for example, if you typically book for yourself and your significant other, then book your own flights with credit card or gift card or flight credit, but book your SO's flights with points if possible.
Wow, I didn't know this. I just booked the tickets for my parents using my own credit card. The price came down like 20% with this deal, approximately $60. If I cancel their tickets now and book again with the code, I will leave $60 waiting in nowhere till I book another flight for them, right?

Got $20 off each of my flights booked through the last deal. Unfortunately, it looks like the refund is tied to the person flying and not to the person that booked
And those don't expire, so you could use it next time.

Mostly business travel is associated with Southwest because of their flexibility

that's a really good find. one tank of gas is about $60 these days.
If you're lucky, 16 gallons at 5+ bucks a gallon is more like $80

Yeah I was wondering that, it's been like that for the last couple of sales. I didn't know if it had to do with how SNA has the annual passenger cap
