Well, I didn't hear back so I guess I'll try offering it to others now. I'll update this post when it's gone.

Tmobile merged their apps somehow so it'll tell them to update. But it's called TLife now or something.

It's better if they dont have the MLB app. When they click on the TLife app and claim/redeem, it will open a browser window. Browser window has a web address. At the end of the web address will be the code, starting with "2024TMO...." and a bunch of other letters/numbers. You can redeem this code on the MLB website afterward. I think it's a bit different for android.
Okay I have no idea about the merge as I don't use TMobile. Okay so that web address that has the code, how many characters is there after the 2024TMO? Is it like 20 something characters or it's more than that? I got to assume some people code is longer than others?

So have them copy and paste each code to me via text message would be the easiest way then after they each claim the code on their own iphone?

They do not have the mlb app on their phone or any of those apps.

They can send the whole url or just the code. The code starts with 2024TMO and has another 18 digits after that

Yes copy the whole url or just the code then paste it into a message

Yeah, what Binkie and Hummy said was right on. Some users had reported issues pulling the code from an iPhone last year, which is why a different browser has been suggested at times. However, it shouldn't really be needed. Just make sure that the MLB app is not installed on their phone when they click Redeem. If it gets installed at some point, just delete it and try again. I made a little screen grab video of what it looks like when you do it on an iPhone (with Safari still set as my default browser). The code from mine has already been redeemed, so no big deal if shown.

Here's the iPhone video screen grab …
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/40QscDPGqyQ

Short version: Click Redeem and then click on the web address bar at the very top where it says "MLB.com" to copy the code (ignore the main pink part of the page about the app download.)

(Note that the video is only 30 seconds long, but may loop / repeat automatically, so don't be confused if it keeps playing)

Long version if you're still not seeing it:
Basically, the video starts with the TLife app open at the MLB promo. You click redeem. Then click redeem again. It will open a browser-like interface with a weblink in the top address bar. There will also be a big pink screen prompting you to download the MLB app. Ignore all that and just look at the weblink at the very top of the screen where it's says "MLB.com" in gray. Then click on that. Once you click there, it immediately becomes clear that it's a web address bar. You won't see the whole link, but you just want to tap on that web address to highlight it and then hit "copy". (I triple-clicked the address bar link in the video so you can see that it shows the end part of the link with the promo code. Again, you won't see the whole link as it's too long for the screen, but it should all be highlited and copied when you do that.) Then, it can be pasted into an email or text message to be sent to someone. The resulting link should look like this …
Code:
https://www.mlb.com/sponsorship/t-m-tuesdays-mlbtv?redemptionCode=2024TMOXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
If all else fails and you still can't get the code after all of the above, you can try downloading the Brave browser and setting it as the default browser in order to copy / paste the link from there. Or log in to the T-Life app from any old Android phone or tablet with Wi-Fi, where the link is easier to grab.

NOTE: If at any point, you see a prompt asking if you want to link the MLB subscription to your iCloud account but you're just trying to retrieve the code, make sure to say "No" or it could end up burning the code by attaching it to your Apple account.

I've added a few things to the wiki already, but it's getting so dang long. Maybe I'll add a link to that post for those who may want the details without throwing the whole thing in the Wiki
