Only racquets that are below ~$50 dollars will have the strings already in them. They will not be good strings either. But, they will last forever since they are meant for beginners.

This Wilson is an intermediate to advanced level racquet. So, the player that wants this racquet knows what strings they need to get at this level. Still a great deal for a beginner and getting it strung is easy.

I'm surprised to see this honestly since v4 is already out. Note this is considered a power racquet so if you have a sensitive arm I'd go for something with a lower flex

It's not surprising it doesn't come with strings. This is more of an intermediate racquet and most won't come with strings

honest question, why would you want cheap factory strings to be installed on this racket?

So I play recreationally a few times a week. Default strings are a good way to test out if the frame suits your style of play (head size, weight, string pattern, etc.), without having to fork out money to get it strung. A lot of people don't even know what kind of strings they should get. They can start by evaluating the frame first. For example, my Babolat Pure Drive came with garbage synthetic gut strings that was put on horribly, but I could still get a feel for the frame, which was VERY different than the oversized Prince Ultralite I came from. I actually moved back to my old racket (was more forgiving) until I developed a technique good enough to use a more intermediate/advanced racket. Obviously strings also make a hell of a difference, but it goes hand-in-hand with the frame.

It's a strung racket as unstrung has that in the listing title.

Tennis Warehouse includes some free string options, and other strings are just the cost of strings, no labor. So no, not just cheap rackets. That made the Black Friday $69 Wilson Blade v6 a much better deal than this.

Yeah, that's called an "option" like you just mentioned. Not a given. My point further explained is, if the strings come with the racquet from the factory, it's typically a cheaper racquet geared towards beginners. Having to add stringing options, free or not, is indicative of a higher pricepoint racquet.
