Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank Wulfrax

The unfortunate part about this slower drive is that it heats up really easily (ironic considering its slower speed). Once it heats up its even slower. Many reviews confirming this. Id get this for non essential stuff and for a kid or something, but nothing important or for an adult.

I'm an adult that acts like a kid, so I might consider this to expand some android devices.

Thanks, OP!

It has to be waterproof but even then 100M watch can't be used for diving to 10M and has to be at least 300M rated for that.

I wonder if this drive is OK for putting music on---I don't think that requires too much speed.

I'm old school and like to use a flash drive for listening to (high quality) mp3 files while in the car---I have a ton of CDs that I ripped. The overall sound quality is better than streaming, at least in my car.

Your flac files are big. Speed might be useful in your case?

I don't make flac files for use in the car, those would be another story---I'm not even sure my Honda system could read flac files. I just make mp3 files at the highest bitrate possible.
