Man, these things are like computers and flat screen HDTV's in their early days. Every time you wait for something to come down In price, the bigger better ones that were astronomically higher come down to reasonable prices, then you wait for that one to come down some more then happens again with the next bigger better one! I used to be eyeing 2000wh for under $1k for quality known brand, but now I'm waiting for 5000wh to hit not much more than that haha.
Wasn't this 899 at Wellbot?
$854 with military discount makes it compelling

I would never recommend running a space heater off of a portable power station. Maybe an electric blanket would be okay in a SHTF situation. But normally I would recommend a portable propane space heater like like Mr. Heater Buddy. They can be used indoors with a cracked window and a CO detector, and the green propane tanks are easy to store and have an indefinite shelf life.
Agreed ๐Ÿ’ฏ. Which is why I have a portable and big buddy heaters. Also rely on fireplace for heat in emergency.

I just wanted to discuss powering heaters off this device due to the fact some people may not realize it's just not a realistic possibility with this unit. Would hate to see someone buy this expecting it to cover all their needs in an outage. Only to realize too late it's not even close.

Watch the return policy on these, esp if you're unsure of your final needs. Online generator is 30 days. Ask me how I know (actually, don't. still working on spending the credit). Otherwise, a good buy. Really made me start liking ecoflow products.

And noise. And fumes. And maintenance (oil changes).

But really, battery backup and gas generators were made to work really well together. Use the battery for 6-12hours silently at night, and charge it during the day using the generator.
