One design flaw in my opinion Is that the battery must be Connected to the main unit to charge. Would be helpful to be able to charge the battery separately.
I don't know how familiar everyone is with these solar generators. But I wouldn't plan on powering much during an outage. These are nice to have in addition to a generator.
Just for a point of reference, A 1500 watt space heater would drain this device in under an hour and 30 minutes. And that's including using the additional battery. Is pretty much good for low draw items only.

I have a kill-a-watt which I should us to measure various devices to see how much they draw. Power outages aren't too common here but I'd like to be prepared if we do end up having anything extended.

Regarding your comment about the space heater, people definitely need to do the math on these things. They work extremely well for some devices/appliances and not so great for others. By way of example, I can run my refrigerator or pellet stove on a Delta 2 for over a dozen hours. I wouldn't expect the same for any kind of electric heating (space heater, heat pump, water heater, electric dryer). Also worth noting, these won't work with a 240V appliance like a well pump.
Bottom line, these are great for many if not most 120V home appliances/devices, great for camping, and great as a back up to a gas generator. Especially since they charge to almost full in about an hour. So during an extended outage, where gas may be in short supply, you could use your gas generator to charge your solar generator for an hour or so, then shut off your gas generator to conserve gas. Of course, everyone's situation and needs are different. Thus the need to do some homework and basic calculations.

I feel this unit and a real generator compliment each other well. Run the generator on and off during the day. Have the delta 2 to run fridge at night. I have solar panels but charging off the generator is a good idea. Much faster. I have a fireplace and a couple propane heaters for heat.
