I had this monitor previously, it is an amazing screen for productivity / office work.
LG also makes one in 34 inch same pixel count, much higher pixel density.
I returned because it was just too big for my use - to the point where windows and UI elements are spread so far apart I have to keep turning my head to hunt them down. It ended up counter productive for me. But for gaming and movies this monitor is rad. Especially if you have a card that can push this almost 5k pixels.
1. It is really finicky with connecting to docking stations on Thunderbolt. DisplayPort is fine
2. The thunderbolt port is problematic and isnt as secure as the other ports.
3. It is really heavy and doesnt love to be on an arm. I use a pole desk mount now and it is better
4. The menu and ability to control the monitor isnt great with the LG joystick. If it doesn't detect a signal, it goes to sleep quickly and is frustrating to get back on. Sometimes it is easier to unplug it and plug it back in.
5. I would probably opt for the Dell if it is in your budget.
6. The smaller 34" 5k monitor is probably a better purchase for 99% of users. This monitor needs distance from your eye position.
Better power delivery and refresh rate with a built in kvm.
Edit: model is U4025QW

I had a 120 off 600 amex offer and 12% back from a cash back site. Not the same price as this deal but brings it to a competitive price.
