Researched Reddit and discovered it plays great on the Steam Deck. Don't trust the unsupported label. Visit Protondb.com and you'll see that text will be difficult to read at times. You can use steam deck shortcuts to magnify text when needed. I have a PS5 and found this is cheaper than getting the disc. Thanks OP. Ordering it!
don't know what metacritic is smoking but if anyone is a Terminator fan this is exactly what the sequels should've been.
It's a game made with love by fans for fans
+1 the gameplay is competent and the story for this game should be canon and all else (ie any movie after T2) should be consider Hollywood fan fiction.
One of the best games I have played in years. Trailers/vids make it look like an FPS on rails but it is not.
You have mission goals each time you leave base but can do a lot of free roaming. You can just move along the story and objectives, or do tons of side stuff collecting cash and parts for upgrades (You get more and more options as the game goes on). Pich whether you want to hide or fight, even against the giant machines. It also leads in fairly well, starting as a recruit with normal guns and gear and progressing up to where you can take down pretty much every enemy.
The DLC is good as well, but it is a separate storyline so you can wait to see if you like the main game first (or complete it) before buying. It doesn't add anything to the main campaign.
