Down addict here. This is a solid deal. Meaybe you can get it cheaper if you really hunt but not much and this is real down 650 is minimum fill but throw it in a t shirt and it doubles as an awesome pillow.
EB is usually good enough quality sometimes better but always has large % off just about everything always
I haven't and have no intention of touching that 32deg stuff. Layer this with literally any coat or sweatershirt to feel warm , even another down if you like (double down 😉) but don't wear it as the outer shell in rain and it is light enough it feels great with a t shirt indoors in a chill

Do you know if the 800 fill power micro therm 2.0 jacket posted is noticeably warmer?

To know if a jacket will be warmer than another, you need the "fill power" number which measures the quality of down (aka how warm an oz of the down can keep you) but you also need to know the weight of the down (150g, 300g, etc.). A 650 fill power jacket can be just as warm as an 800 fill power one, it just needs to use more down to do so.
If both jackets have the same weight of down, the one with the higher fill power will be warmer. Another benefit to a higher fill power is even if the jackets have equivalent warmth, the one with the higher fill power will be lighter and pack down smaller.
I have not used either of these jackets, and the EB site does not seem to mention fill weight anywhere that I could see.

Definitely a solid jacket. I'm actually wearing the Green and black pocket one right now as I'm about to leave the house.
I have one of their brand new ones (tags still on) that is waterproof that I don't need and was given as a gift. Those things are ridiculous at $500. I thought about listing it on eBay or something. Anyone know if those are pretty good too?
The one I got from Costco is good enough for me. $34.99 looks similar plus it has a hoodie.
I have both this one and the Costco one.
For some reason this one is actually my favorite. It has more baffle boxes built and which creates a more uniform down dispersal. Just a better feel.
The Costco one is good enough but this is a solid deal direct from the company!
