I can confirm that this works
Did you try smacking it?
Thanks, I didn't hit it but I let it sit overnight and it worked this morning.
I just pushed the mesh filter in since thats stopping the waterflow. Pump definitely is weak

I've tried inserting the water tank over and over, spanking the unit several times like it was bad girl at a sex party, pushing the filter in where the water tank attaches and manually inserting water with an oral syringe but nothing works.
Pump tries to operate twice then nothing happens. I can get the pump to endeavor to siphon the water longer on its second attempt by inserting the water tank repeatedly while it's active but it never sucks water regardless; the pump is only teasing and mocking me it seems
I'm thinking these units have a major design flaw for so many to have the same issue hence the clearance price. It's a terrible and extremely frustrating defective product; the machine should be recalled IMO..
It's a shame because it's really nice that it has the wands that let you load loose coffee so you don't have to use pods if you are out, or whatever.
Anyone else know of a dual mode unit like this for an ok price?
Safe to assume that this has 90 days warranty.
Sincerely, this post is very far from a "deal". This feels almost like a scam. This machine is not worth the $30 "deal" price. Well, this is another post by SD staff.
This website is very far away from what it used to be.
Best Buy is terrible. They just send out used stuff
Going through the reviews, seems like most are due to priming issues, which seem like they can be resolved by reattaching the tank a few times to force water in.
Probably why some of the other bad reviews are due to people getting used ones, as other's probably returned them and didn't say anything.
Seems worth the gamble to me 👍
So 3 out of the 4 ordered machines work, after (slightly) raising and lowering the water - to see air escape (to prime). It seems it may have helped to do this with the front assembly open so as to avoid back pressure.
Makes Nespresso so much better than our 10yr+ Nespresso model - a bit shocking how much better the quality is now.
Didn't realize what we were missing.
The machine seems solid and punctures the capsules a lot better than other machines used over the years.
It's reasonably loud, but no louder than other models, from what I can tell.
It's definitely worth it, even having to return one. Thanks, OP.
Glad I returned to the thread before using. Did this in initial use and I have to say… that's a good cup of coffee. Solid value as long as it continues to work!
