This is definitely not one of those. This one even has a usable 2160p 30hz emulation as an unlisted feature
The corner blur issue is definitely less of the issue on this one compared to the RPJ280. I also have the Vankyo V620 which does have the corner blur issue.
Of all the three cheap projectors, this one is definitely the best one IMO
Image gets soft/out of focus around the corners, and I'd expect that's going to be standard on any projector in this price range. I've hooked an Xbox Series S up to it and had a lot of fun playing Elden Ring and Hogwarts Legacy at 100". It's immersive in a way that smaller TVs just can't match. Obviously there's a hit to picture quality vs whatever 4K TV you currently have, but again just going in with your expectations at reasonable levels I think most anyone would enjoy it for what it is. I get mine out any time were doing a movie night at home and it's just fun, and everyone likes being at the "theater".
Anyway, I hope that helps and feel free to ask any other questions!

The only complaint on the RPJ280 is that there's a little blur in one corner (but for $30, it wasn't a dealbreaker).

The fact that it's a lot more portable and less complex than anything you would replace it with gives it the advantage of being something you can play with.
I had a similar model mounted on an articulating tripod arm that could be pointed at the ceiling when I was confined to bed rest and it provided a decent 55"-65" picture that was plenty bright enough for basic consumption, even with moderate daylight.
Movie nights in the backyard are an obvious option, but you can also use it as a rear projector for holiday decorations like what LiFX does.
