The questionable: Motorola in name only, made by another company; Very mixed Amazon reviews; I think discontinued and support is reported to be poor. The good: I've had it a week and no issues if set up correctly, good coverage, speed, phone app is fairly complete but some unneeded features hinky. You get 3 routers, pick one, scan QR on back with app, that's the primary, add 1 or both others, they become nodes. The nodes can't go too far from primary but their range to devices is fairly long. Our 4k sf house required only primary and 1 node. If you have an experience like some Amazon reviewers and set it up properly, don't blame me. 30 day return.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank sarcasmogratis
But agree reviews are quite mixed
edit: apparently OEM is "Minim" and they aren't supporting it well. Apps for the router have bad ratings too. I'd have some security concerns if the manufacturer isn't going to push updates
But agree reviews are quite mixed
For $40 I guess if you even get a year out of them, might not be bad, but I doubt they will be functional longer than that.
I almost picked some to play around with but requiring a phone app that has to phone home to set up the product kills its ability to function in the long run.
Bummer as they performed great, and supported ethernet backhaul with an ethernet port to spare.

Does requires app to setup but after it's setup it will work as is. App works well for remote monitoring
Or optionally you can hardwire using a 12 port Ethernet switch. Connect the "router" to a 12 port Ethernet switch. And the other 11 nodes to the switch. In which case the performance would be great.
