The game's page indicates it's not available at all until 3/7/24, so I assume that's when the freebie starts ("Day 1"). OP, I'd recommend adding this start date to your post, to avoid people asking when it starts or giving you a hard time.

I played a ton of the first Astro Duel, it's a super polished game that is a blast to play with friends. This should shine in couch co-op as well as Steam Remote Play, but I see this one adds some new single player content. If you like retro and/or co-op games with your friends, this is a pretty easy grab!
