Use this in my studio while playing guitar. Works perfect; no arms makes guitar life easier. Is it the best quality chair? No.... but for the price, its worth it in my opinion, debating getting another one.

The $360 supposed MSRP is amusing, but this looks like a good option for a small desk we have in our kitchen area. Thanks for posting.

it's a [poor and ugly] knock-off of the Herman Miller Aluminum Group chair. check the msrp on that and you'll see why even the knock-offs appear entitled to the high msrp (appears low by comparison).

Does anyone have a suggestion for a cover? I can search myself but if someone already has a suggestion then that would help. I must cat-proof stuff like this. If I can get a cover then all I need to do is add cardboard.

Have been looking at this chair for months at $60ish,this lower price will pull the trigger.
Now i do not weight 300 pounds, however, sometimes i flop down hard into a chair with force the equivalent of the weight of someone over 300 pounds. so this may be help:

Just put mine together. More of an off-white. Padding is thick but pretty firm. The vinyl is a somewhat grippy texture...feels a little different than my other chairs when making small adjustments to my posture. Quality seems fine for $40...can't complain too much at that price.
