It's a good deal on a per pound basis. But unless you're doing a significant amount of volume, this is going to start aging/degassing like 8-10 weeks into storage. And that's assuming they were roasted like 2 months ago which is about best case for Lavazza on Amazon. By the time you're digging into the last bags, you're likely looking at 4-6 month old beans which isn't ideal.

They are already sealed. I've bought this 6 pack twice and noticed no difference between the first and 6th bag storing at room temp. I've read differing opinions on freezing beans.

These are great for automatic machines. No oil to ruin them. My favorite bean.

I work from home and drink tons of coffee in the morning. I use these in my machine and they've been great. I have more expensive beans when I feel like making drip but these work very well with the machine! Highly recommend.

Anyone tasted both super crema and qualita oro? Both are available; but I haven't tried them. Which is better for espresso?

The "better one for espresso" is the one you like the best.

Boom.

Knowledge bombed.

(These are pretty good. They're in my pantry now)

Newb here. I understand this is mainly for espresso machines. But how about regular old drip coffee? Still okay?

I can't speak to drip coffee, but I've used it for french press and liked it quite a bit.

There was a stack of discounts for me. I don't know how I got the $28.25. Total after taxes came out to $33.89.

Thanks!

I only use drop ship or direct roasters now. Even my local ones roast then put them in silos or want $30/lb for bespoke which is a total rip so I have 2 I work w/ now and am happy. They are roasted then shipped that day. For ones I was drop shipping through (ironically Walmart as I protest Amazon now) I talked to the roaster and they would give me preferential pricing lower than going through a third party. So ask. I prefer to work w/ small biz anyways.

And I vacuum seal immediately and do deep freeze or basement (20c) temp and I haven't seen a difference other than oils seem to be more in check with not freezing. But after 2-3 days of outgas and vacuum sealing that makes the most diff.

If you are getting months old Lavazza that is a different gig altogether, they are clearing out old stock or its from overseas where container shipping lets just say isn't the best.

they are low quality, already months if not years old so it's pointless to do all the preservation.

I wish it took me a month per bag, I go through probably 3 a month.

Crema is meant for cappuccinos and lattes and Oro is more like espresso one. However from my personal experience both worked great for espresso.
