Michael Landon was a fantastic actor. Not too soon after his passing, every actor around him praised him for his mentorship, kindness, encouragement. An actor's actor. I personally hate this series because my mother switched all my siblings favorite tv shows to it when I was a kid. Especially in syndication. Ugh. Otherwise I'd buy this in a heartbeat.

Just read the reviews. Season 10 is not on this. Neither are the 3 movies for tv they made.

We bought this back during the 2020 sale. Well worth the $$ - both my young boys watch this and it is a very wholesome family show. No ads is worth it!

What's with the show description?

"Laura and Almanzo Wilder raise a family in Walnut Grove."

appears to be describing a later season.

I have read a few different articles over the years from the cast of this show where they all pretty much disliked him as he treated them pretty badly. The lady who played his wife said he would always be drunk and make terrible comments about her body etc.
