​Will GV give me a new number?
I went to my local BestBuy and while the bestbuy personnel was checking the stock and offer he told me I don't need to do port, I can just get a new account and number (only works in person).
Then he just did everything where it asked for my ssn, agreeing to t&c etc and gave me the phone sealed pack and the sim activation kit (no credit card asked anywhere just id and ssn for credit check). He said I'll get email to create AT&T activation and attach my billing details later.
Now my question is, I have the unlocked phone, and a sim kit (not activated). Do i even need to activate it if there was no credjt card attached anywhere where i can be charged? would this cause issue with credit score?
