In one of those emails, there should be a link to change your passcode. As far as I know, if you don't have that email, the only way to reset it is by visiting an AT&T corporate store.

I got the same error. I put in my last four and still they don't recognize it. My phone shipped but it's delayed.

I chatted with their customer service for 1 hour to cancel the account, it is exhausting...

They haven't shipped mine yet only created the label. I was nervous I still cancelled ATT asap. Once on the phone with a rep it took 5 minutes. they kept asking for reasons I just kept saying "because I don't want the service"

There was a disclaimer I recall when getting service through BestBuy. It says you are responsible for cancelling service with the provider if your order is cancelled.

Depends on your State. Like 3 States have in law you must be allowed to cancel a service online. The ability to cancel online only exists if you live in these states. ATT wants to keep you forever so they prefer you talk to a rep. Calling doesn't take long, most confirmation is done by a bot and then handed to a person.

Same , they created the label yesterday and haven't shipped , thinking to cancel att this evening if they don't ship by late of the day.

I think first they activate it( I see in my best but order , att activated ) , but then if they don't have the phone , they just cancel the order , making it a loss for us, we won't get the phone and still have an att account.

mine has been in the same state from yesterday.

Got my order today. Cancelled my wireless service via online chat with AT&T rep. Everything went smoothly. Waiting for my bill. But it is showing $0 so far.
