This will also charge the dewalt battery, so think charging a battery on the go in the car, or if you have a power outage, all of your dewalt batteries now become spare batteries to charge phones and other devices (think hurricanes in Florida etc)

Absolutely. I use it to charge my Mini 3 Pro drone. It will even charge my MacBook Pro. Just keep in mind the capacity of your Dewalt batteries my small Dewalt battery can only partial charge my MacBook.
I have this charger and really like it. I can adjust how quickly I charge my Dewalt batteries, by what USB-C charger I connect them to. I don't always need to fast charge my tool batteries and charge them slower to make the last longer.

I don't know about this. We all have a bunch of wall chargers already, I don't understand why someone would buy this. Don't say for phone/laptops, we have chargers for those too.

1. It's an alternative way to charge your tool batteries using USB-C rather than a clunky 120V charger - and perhaps most importantly, when charging tool batteries from other batteries (like an Ecoflow unit or similar), something like this would avoid lossy DC -> AC -> DC conversion which wastes power.
2. It's a good way to make use of (high capacity) tool batteries that otherwise might be sitting around doing nothing - powering lights, devices, fans, etc., during camping, events, power outages, etc.


I wish Milwaukee had a version of this that supported charging their M18 batteries from USB-C - their TOP OFF unit is nice but its USB-C isn't two way, only output.

I think this is the best price it's been isn't it?

May need to finally pick one up since once you factor in the cost of a 100w wall charger this isn't all that expensive.

edit: oops the wall charger is only 65w. still, figure that's worth at least $20-30.

Didn't know this existed. I have a bunch of DW batteries laying around including Flexvolts and this will make good use of 'em. It's quoting delivery of 3/19-4/8 but I'm in no hurry. Thanks OP!

I don't know my portable power supply is thin and easily carried, this seams bulky and harder to tote around. Not sure how many times I would need my dewalt battery's for charging usb devices. So many usb charging outlets in many things now adays. Couldn't imagine bringing this to the beach or on travel vacations. Maybe I could see on a job site such as carpenters roughing houses. Not for me.

I would rather 2 of these for same price
