I purchased an S120 solar powered light/security camera for $75 with free shipping. Refurbs are available on Amazon for $70, but overall, a brand new unit was a better deal to me.

their "sale" price is almost their normal price all the time. S120 was 65 during xmas. Amazon usually has better sales than their site with coupon. I would wait
I just add to cart and when its on sale, it'll notify you
On top of these sale prices being less than 15% the products are becoming less reliable. The solo cams firmware was gutted 3 versions back and none of the issues have been fixed, Home base 2 users have been completely abandoned and the Home base 3's additional features false detect humans, pets, and vehicles with stationary static objects constantly.
Eufy sent out a beta survey recently asking what users would want in a full NVR system, suggesting they're yet again going to abandon the Home base 3 and all S300 series cameras because that's exactly how they introduced the HB3 and S300 series to the market.

I just got a solocam and its glitchy, i was wondering whats wrong. Also as a Homebase 2 owner, i fully agree with your statement.
Eufy was once a good company but is now becoming more greedy and crappy.

Aren't they all? I keep hearing about users switching from one company to another for the same reasons. Many Ring customers are currently raving about Eufy, lol!
