The 900 has a better bar and sub, but no satellites. It's the same as the Q990C minus the satellites.

I'm waiting for the Q900C to drop to $450 like Q910C is currently. They share the same list price, same sale price but the EDU, etc., prices are different.

So I wait.

I bought the 900c and got the 9500 satellites separate (Best Buy open box for $80) and they've been great!

Can't depend on finding open box for the 9500s. I spent 6 weeks clicking on Best Buy with no luck and they retail for $299, give me a break.

I thought about the Q900C, but it's larger than the Q800c and wouldn't fit in my space. I really like the Q800C and plan to get the rear speakers when they are on sale at Best Buy. The Q900C is better, but not sure I'll miss it that much.

These prices for education EPP have been on and off the past couple of weeks. I got the 800C at this price 2 weeks ago.

the rears are different, but the sub and the bar are the same. I'm not looking for "the best" but I wanted something pretty good while not breaking the bank. I have a ton of Sonos speakers around but didn't want to spend that much for something I barely get to use (my kids are young so it is what it is!)

Thinking it's time to upgrade from q800b to the 910c! About time to have rear speakers for my setup and perfect config for me since no power outlet near where I will place 1 of the rear speakers. Thx OP!
