FYI. This rebate is similar to pennzoil's rebate. walmart.com online purchases excluded from this rebate. You must buy the oil from Walmart in store.

Right and what is a "FULL SYNTHETIC BLEND" ?? It's either full or blended.

One (1) case (3*1-gallon bottles) of Shell Rotella® T6***Full Synthetic Blend*** heavy duty diesel engine oil and earn a $40 digital Gift Card*

It's still good oil but the Diesel is a blend. I use these oils to flush my Audi and MB Sprinter before changing the filter and filling with the proper spec oils. It comes out almost as black as the original oil.

it really bugs me these oil companies are not required to state how much FULL SYNTHETIC is added to make their blend...it could be 1/4 cup who knows? You are better off going full synthetic.

I see it mentions a case of three 1 gallon jugs. Can you buy three separate one gallon jugs and still apply this? It doesn't specifically say you can or can't.

From the terms and conditions on the rebate site: Limit one (1) Gift Card with a maximum value of $40 per person, household oraddress (email and physical), during the Promotion Period.

So it would have to be the 3 pack, not 3 individual bottles.

T5 is a blend, T6 is full. The rebate page description is a typo.

That's what I sort of figured. Very strange as all they do is take the bottles out of the 3 pack and put them on the shelves. I was lucky to find a case of 3 unopened but that's not likely to happen everywhere.

Ended up getting it at Menard's for $70.56 and there will be the additional 11% off so 62.80 pre tax. After the rebate I'll be under $2 a quart. Not bad in this day and age.
