Ordered! Thanks. This is a perfect set to let my wife use and she can leave my Zwilling Pro knives alone. I keep finding them in the bottom of the sink with the dishes. 😖😢

yeah, it seems a pretty good deal for what you get, I have ordered one as well, I was just looking for Chef Knife, but at this price this set makes sense to get.

These appear to be the German made set (I'll confirm upon delivery). If so, yes, it's a good buy. There are some odd reviews on Amazon of people buying Twin Signatures that are supposed to be German made, but are not. So be aware and return them if they send the wrong item.

If you look up the price history, this is the normal price.

Bro... Like fr. I kept buying nice knife sets, all the tips curled over or chipped off, putting the knives into metal pots tip down to wash them with silverware. Just wipe em off man c'mon. Sheer disrespect. They made it out to be me overreacting....

Knowing what I know now, I think if I was going to invest in Zwillings, I'd go with a (more expensive) Pro chef's and paring knife and skip the inbetween utility size. And if I hadn't yet invested in "real" knives but was interested in doing so, I'd go with the budget-friendly (but still solid and highly recommended) Victorinox Fibrox, which would maybe $20 less than these for the same type set.

However, if I was interested in an entry-level, quality set, and didn't know much about knives, this seems like a decent deal. But if you're going to invest in knives at all, you should grab yourself a honing steel for everyday (10-second) use, and down the line a year or two you'll want sharpening stones.

Oh no, I just thrown away a Victorinox bought in 2012, following this name led to Amazon showing my purchase order, lol. Thought it was $10 cheap knife but turned out it was $27.52 back then. No, it's not good knife, not for the price 10 years ago, not for the new price today.

Hey, I'm no expert, and my opinion on the Victorinox should be taken with a grain of salt. But America's Test Kitchen is full of experts, and they've been recommending the Victorinox for years. Still, if you hated the Victorinox, that's totally fair, and if it's not worth the price to you, then no problem. Anyway, this is an old thread and I'm out, but good luck on any knife search you're on.

Thanks and I meant no disrespect. It happened to be my experience. In fact I was replying to another thread about this knife and I thought I bought it at $10 years ago, lol. Then browsed to this thread as I've been looking for new knives lately. Saw your suggestion and clicked to Amazon where it displays I've purchased it in 2012, only then I realized what I thrown away was this one.

Had I realized this may be worth much more and made in swiss, I may have kept it and try more different sharpening methods before jumped on conclusion. Anyway, it's gone and I have since purchased a couple different knives including the Zwilling sale recently here, all are amazing knives and super sharp. But all these are only my experiences, and I by no means an expert on this subject. Peace.
