Solid game, easy pickup for $2. Cut scene art style doesn't match the game style at all, but still a good space fighter game. Check out youtube videos to get a feel.

I was going to pick this up, the other day, but it was unclear if VR worked as it does with the Steam version. Anyone try it out? I hear the VR controllers won't work on GOG, even if the headset will (that may be the same with the Steam version too, no idea).

I bought this when I had my Vive several years ago with the intention of doing vr, and you do get the option to run with vr, but I never did get to try it.

It just launches with openvr, which I believe is just steamvr minus steam, so it should with the same as steam. I bought obduction via gog around the same time and it did the same, and worked great, as well as no man's sky

Thanks for the feedback. I guess my main question, which you hit on, is if the Steam version offers any additional VR functionality than the GOG version. Some people said this game can be tricky to play VR because keyboard inputs are required.

For $2, it's worth it. Game is pretty addictive once you get started. Pretty spiffy game, gave hundreds of hours of rogue-lite fun for me.

Beginning of game was kinda steep learning curve due to me not used to 3D maneuvering. You may get the hang of it faster.

One of my favorite games. Great for anyone who enjoyed wing commander, privateer, free space, tie fighter games of old.

The sequel is also great, but more similar to the games noted above and not as much a rogue lite.
