I stopped using the WebOS a long time ago with my LG C1. I opted to use an Apple TV 4K instead. No ads, and the user experience is one of the best in the industry. Apple TVs tend to receive support longer than most Smart TV's. LG has their own app store, and it doesn't have as many apps as the Google Play Store.

My experience with warranty is that I bought a JVC tv from Costco when Citi Visa card was still providing extra 2 years warranty, totaling 7 years warranty (which is what I have currently for my CX 65"). After 5 years the JVC tv screen died and it was replaced by a new TCL tv which is still running. Now the Citi visa extra 2 years warranty is no longer available. But I again bought C3 55" for 1299 with 5 years warranty from Costco. I am just stupid about warranties 😉

Thanks been wanting to upgrade to a oled for months now. This comes with free room of choice delivery. They unpack it and place it where u want it. If any problems they can take it away right away instead of get it delivered and find out it's damaged and need to wait for it to be picked up again for return.

stay scared.. burn in aint an issue anymore. just stop playing video games 12 hours a day, and turn off fox news or cnn.

I understand that you are not a Costco member. 2 years manufactures warranty + 3 years Allstate warranty(this price is included in the tv purchase price totaling $100) = 5 years. This deal (read the warranty pdf, which many of you didn't) has 1 year warranty. Remember there is no such thing as free lunch. This deal also has 30 days return vs Costco's 90 days return.

Absolutely . My Lg CX purchased at Costco in 2021 got a weird white line down the middle after 2 yrs. Costco told me just bring it back , they refunded me at original purchase price and I got a C2 for $400 less. I would not risk this without 5 year warranty. I prefer if it drops at Costco even for a little more than to buy one with no warranty

I've been watching reviews on some mini led tvs like the X93L and there are plenty of people in the comments talking about going that way because they have got burn in after a couple of years with OLEDs. I thought it was a thing of the past too but it seems plenty of people still experience it.

I've been focusing on wanting to get a G3. But if I don't want to spend over $2k for one and they don't go sub $1900 after tax, are the C3 models at $1400 comparable enough?

Amazon and Best Buy aren't that low right now for 77" C3. Hopefully they adjust the price in the next week or two.
