No I was but my buddy sad that's a scummy move I said why do u care about a billion dollar corporation that screws its workers every day... Plus I noticed the stand changed so even if they did the basic check I could get my account flagged so I bailed on the idea for now lol

Only 1 year warranty vs 5 years at Costco
This price is $1,244 from Amazon whereas the Costco online cost is $1,699 so I'm gonna need you to make it make sense. Adding the $169 cost for their 4 year protection, while it is one year less, for a total of $1,413 is still significantly below the cost at Costco.

Tempting deal but I feel like I should be holding out for a 65" G3 if I'm ever going to upgrade from a 55" c9?
I am also debating 65" G3 vs 65" C3 except I'd be upgrading from a 10+ year old LG LCD. This C3 and upcoming G4/C4 models won't have a ATSC 3.0 tuner and who knows when LG will add such tuners back into their products due to legal issues. So G3 is one of the last models that will have the tuner. Along with getting MLA, I'm leaning towards holding out for a G3.

Already done and it'll be here Friday.

Nonetheless, that still doesn't make your comment regarding Costco make the least bit of sense. You took the time to post it, so at least have the online decency to stand behind your words.

i really think some cases G3 is overrated. It depends on the room you are in and most likely the C3 is just bright enough for where you are.

I bought a new in box LG Oled G1 from Best Buy 55 in for $999 2 years ago. Now it wont turn on. I will get a extended warranty from now on. You would think a G series would last.
G series has 5 year panel warranty. Did you check on that?

Thank you - purchased! First new TV since 2013!

RE: The warranty point - just make sure to buy the TV with an extended warranty coverage. Most give you at least an additional one year of coverage with no added cost.

Good for you. I would rather spend $200 more for 1 more year of warranty on expensive electronics. I don't have much experience with Amazon warranty. Good luck
